Shawn has been a financial planner since 2000. He has been recognized as a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, an elite organization of the world’s leading financial services and insurance professionals. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), The Certified Planning Board of Standards (CFP®), and the Financial Planning Counselors of WNY.
Shawn earned a B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Fredonia and an M.B.A. from St. Bonaventure University. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, holds Series 7 and 66 registrations with LPL Financial, and has a New York State Life & Health license. In 2007, he completed the Wharton Retirement Planning program at the University of Pennsylvania.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Erie County Charter Revision Commission, is Co-Chair of the St. Francis High School Capital Campaign, and serves on the Board of Directors for the ECMC Foundation as co-treasurer. He’s been a volunteer blood donor at the American Red Cross for over 25 years. Shawn has also served as Chairman of the St. Francis High School Board of Trustees, Co-Chair of the United Way Tocqueville Society, and as a member of the Hamburg Town Board.
Shawn and his wife Amy have been married for 26 years. They enjoy doing community volunteer work, exercising, traveling, and dining out. They also love spending time with their friends and family, including their three children, Patrick, Molly, and Clare.
