Shawn has been a financial planner since 2000. He has been recognized as a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, an elite organization of the world’s leading financial services and insurance professionals. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), The Certified Planning Board of Standards (CFP®), and the Financial Planning Counselors of WNY.
Shawn earned a B.A. degree from State University of New York at Fredonia and an M.B.A. from St. Bonaventure University. He is a Certified Financial PlannerTMprofessional, holds Series 7, and 66 registrations, with LPL Financial, and a New York State Life & Health license.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the ECMC Foundation as co-Treasurer, United Way of Buffalo & Erie County Endowment and Planned Giving Committee, and is a member of the Hamburg Town Board. In addition, Shawn coaches various youth sports teams for his children, Patrick, Molly, and Clare. In 2009, Shawn was recognized with Business First’s 40 Under 40 Award for his community involvement. Shawn and his wife Amy have been married for 21 years. They enjoy doing community volunteer work, exercising, traveling, and spending time with their children.
